Abstract
This paper discussed the Trajectory of Effective Communication and Political Office Succession Question and examines the personal/public interest in relation to political office succession quest as an emerging trend of politics in Nigeria. It establishes that trajectory of effective communication is crucial for better political office succession towards public interest and sustainable democracy. The paper concludes that the trajectory of effective communication for political office succession and sustainable democratic process for public interest is inevitable, therefore this should encompass tailored context and intensity, reinforcing intrapersonal-interpersonal-public communication assemblage.
